Meet in Great Bedwyn by the church (St. Mary’s), please park considerately in the village. This is the Wilton Walk from Elaine Steane’s book, ‘Milestones to Millstones’ with many points of interest. The route first follows the Kennet and Avon Canal to Crofton pumping station. It then goes to Wolfhall Manor, the ancestral home of the Seymour family, then to the village of Wilton and its windmill, before returning to Great Bedwyn.
