New walks leaders needed

The task of leading walks for OFS is falling on an ever decreasing number of members. For each six month period there are 26 weekends so if there is to be a walk at the weekend as well as one midweek then more leaders are needed so that 50 walks can be offered, it is not fair to ask a small number of leaders to be leading a walk every month in order for there to be a full programme. Meet at Ardington, the village shop, ‘The Grocer Chef’. Park considerately in the village. A circular walk taking in the picturesque villages of Ardington, West and East Hendred, with their thatched cottages, historic churches and open countryside which make for a pleasant Winter walk. Views of Ardington House can be seen towards the end of the walk. Bring refreshment for en-route break, optional tea shop stop in the tea room in Ardington at the end of the walk.
