Meet at Cookley Green, the bus shelter, located beside the avenue of trees along the B 481 as it passes through the green. There is a small car park behind the village bus shelter, or park considerately in the village. From Cookley Green we first make our way to Swyncombe Park. The route includes sections of beech woods (possibly with bluebells), and several ancient tracks along the Chiltern escarpment, eventually reaching Russell’s Water, where a green lane leads us back to the start.
