Meet at Sibford Gower, Holy Trinity Church, Main Street. A walk from the beautiful ironstone village of Sibford Gower along the d’Arcy Dalton Way to Epwell with its interesting church. From there we pick up the Macmillan Way, and then an old greenway, before circling back over fields to our start. Bring refreshment for an en-route break and a picnic stop. One short section on a busy minor road, and crossing a minor road twice. Assistance dogs only. Marsaleete

Meet at Wantage, Manor Road Memorial Car Park, Manor Road (free). A walk from the book ‘Milestones to Millstones’ by Elaine Steane, with many interesting features. From Manor Road, Wantage we pass the Market Square, King Alfred’s statue and Wessex Flour Mill, a working roller mill, then walk to the spring-line villages of Letcombe Regis and Letcombe Bassett and climb to the Ridgeway, returning via Letcombe Regis. This is a joint walk with the Ramblers. Picnic or café stop at Courthill Centre on Ridgeway around lunch time. Some walking in Wantage with crossings, and on minor roads with fast traffic, with a short stretch on A338. Assistance dogs only. Buses from Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot and Letcombe Regis. Please let leader know if arriving by bus, and we can meet you in the Market Square soon after 10 am. Siobhan

No 6 bus from Oxford City at its terminus in Wolvercote, then a short walk through the village to the car park. A circuit of Wytham Woods starting with a steep climb from Wytham village to the woods car park (alternative meeting place at 10.30 – please let walk leader know). Once the chalet is passed by on the main track, the walk follows the outskirts of the woods with views over the Thames Valley until turning again to meet the main track for the descent to the village. Probability of mud !! Bring refreshment for en-route break at the woods car park, picnic lunch at the same place on return. Option for lunch at the White Hart, Wytham. Assistance dogs only. Judith

A generally undemanding route from Christopher Somerville, but with a few short, steep sections as we follow the Oxfordshire and Chiltern Ways, the Ridgeway, and an ancient packhorse route. Short section of walking along busy minor road at the beginning and end of the walk, and crossing another busy road twice. Bring refreshment for an en-route break and a picnic lunch.
