New walks leaders needed

The task of leading walks for OFS is falling on an ever decreasing number of members. For each six month period there are 26 weekends so if there is to be a walk at the weekend as well as one midweek then more leaders are needed so that 50 walks can be offered, it is not fair to ask a small number of leaders to be leading a walk every month in order for there to be a full programme. Meet at Ramsden Tennis Court on Akeman Street OX7 3AY. A figure of 8 walk to Leafield then taking us through Singe Wood onto Wilcote before returning through Ramsden. Crosses the B 4022 twice. Bring refreshments for en route break and picnic. Dogs on leads. Ian Vandenberghe

Meet in lay-by at Boddington Lane, North Leigh Common (100 m short of Field farm entrance). An easy fairly flat circular walk to North Leigh, Bridewell and back via East End. Coffee break en route and pub at end in North Leigh. Assistance dogs only. Dave and Eileen Mace

Meet at Pear Tree Inn, Scotland End, Hook Norton. This fairly hilly walk starts at the ironstone village of Hook Norton on the d’Arcy Dalton Way to Great Rollright. We cross into Warwickshire with more fine views returning east over Whichford Hill back to Hook Norton. Dogs on leads. Refreshments for lunch stop.
